Here is a 48 minute musical journey that travels down through darkness and dissonance, massaging the stuckness, climbing through the realms of the unconscious, and spiraling up again to receive the coming of new light, new insight. Recorded live just before midnight on the Winter Solstice, 2020, this tonal journey can be used anytime you wish; for relaxation, emotional support, unseating old patterns, or how ever it speaks to you.

More About this recording:
While this is by no means a traditional rendition, the tonality and style of this recording is heavily based on my studies in North Indian Classical (or Hindustani) music. The main Raga – or musical/emotional mood – I’m working with here is Puriya, often said to produce a sobering, pious, yet peaceful atmosphere. Towards the end, we shift into Raag Jhinjoti, a playful, light raga fullness of sweetness, yet not devoid of depth.
All the sounds are created live using my voice and flute, Ableton Live, and a Boss RC 505 looper.
